For today's steemit project I thought I might try and make a recycled art steemit t-shirt that was given to me for art supplies. One person gets the t-shirt when done and there is a second place prize too. First place will be given to the person with the most upvotes for their comment below. Second prize will be given to the person with the second most upvotes for their comment below. Contest will close 24 hours after this post is published. Prizes will be mailed Thursday September 29th. More rules and details at the bottom of this post.

Here are some of the steps I took to recycle this t-shirt today. I had made a couple of steemit stencils the last few days and thought I would try to make a steemit t-shirt with them. Scroll to the bottom to see how the t-shirt turned out. Or, read through to see some of the steps it took to make this creation.

Found a T-Shirt to Use

Sorry any Florida Georgia Line fans(country music band) out there, but this brand new shirt is being recycled into a steemit shirt.

Blacking Out The Old Lettering

I covered up the old lettering with some black spray paint.

Small steemit Lettering on the Bottom Hemline

I decided a small stencil of the steemit lettering would look good on the bottom of the shirt.
