Florentine Simonete Vespucci is a muse and source of inspiration for the great Renaissance painter Sandro Botticelli. Just like Beatrice for Dante or Laura for Petraka. She does not notice the modest artist and does not suspect that she is his ideal of beauty. The girl goes out of this world only 23 years from tuberculosis. Little is known about her. They married Simonete to Marco Vespucci, a relative of the famous Florentine sailor, Amerigo Vespucci. Simone's husband was a friend of Juliano Medici, co-director of Florence, and after the wedding, the newlyweds moved to the city. But the marriage of Simonetta and Marco was not happy. Since the establishment of the Vespucci family in Florence, the young beauty has begun to enjoy the attention and favor of many prominent men. Among her pilgrims was Florence's governor Lorenzo Medici. But her heart belonged to another - to his younger brother, Juliano. He gathered the admiration of the entire female population of the city, from distinguished ladies to ordinary Florentines. Giuliano was handsome, strong and courageous. It is believed that Piero di Cosimo of this work has painted Cleopatra with the image of Simonete Vespucci decades after her death. Giuliano Medici was loved not only by women, he was a popular favorite. They called him Prince of Youth. He was not interested in state affairs, but he enjoyed tournaments and balls. Simonete had the glory of Florence's first beauty, called her "Incomparable", poets dedicated her to poems, painters painted her. Some researchers claim that Simonete was Juliana's beloved, but others think their love remains platonic. But the fact that on 28 January 1475 Juliano took part in a sports race and after his victory declared the woman of his heart - Simonetta - the queen of the tournament.

Botticelli then portrayed Juliano's personal flag, Simonetta in the image of Minerva in a white dress, with Gorgona Medusa's head in her hands. Unfortunately, it has not survived. The beautiful Simonete dies 23 years from tuberculosis, and according to some she was poisoned. All Florence sank into sorrow and complains about the Incomparable and the end of Juliano and Simonete's ideal love. Two years after the death of Julliano Medici, beloved on the same date - April 26th, he was killed by the conspirators. The death of the young lovers seemed mystical to the Florentines, for their history had long been told. Most portraits of Simonette appeared after her death. Her early death was severely experienced by Sandro Botticelli, who painted her face with Venus and Spring. His most famous work, "The Birth of Venus," Botticelli ended 9 years after the death of Simonetta. And until nowadays, the art researchers' disputes continue on what sails the great artist has sealed the image of Simonete Vespucci. Some suggest that from the moment of meeting with the young beauty, the artist painted only Simonete in the image of the Madonna or Venus for 15 years. With the death of Simonete Vespucci and Juliano Medici in Florence ends the whole era, which they call the "golden age", and the dawn of the Florentine Renaissance begins.

This photo is also very beautiful and the story is also very amazing

Botticelli was an artist in Florence and he became one of the most famous artist in Grand Ducato of Tuscany with the greatest mecenate of this land: Lorenzo de Medici.
This artist followed the noeplatonic theory, that is the deep love for ancient Greek and Roman philosophers and sculptors.
He was one of the most famous painter during the Renaissance in Florentine School. There are a lot of his paintings at the Uffizi Museum, a place known all around the world.
Thank you to show one of my favorite artist of my land.
