Botticelli was an artist in Florence and he became one of the most famous artist in Grand Ducato of Tuscany with the greatest mecenate of this land: Lorenzo de Medici.
This artist followed the noeplatonic theory, that is the deep love for ancient Greek and Roman philosophers and sculptors.
He was one of the most famous painter during the Renaissance in Florentine School. There are a lot of his paintings at the Uffizi Museum, a place known all around the world.
