Street Art Part 3 - Ocean Theme
These beautifully decorated walls can be found not too far from where we live. There is a construction site which is as usual surrounded by walls to keep the public from harm. These walls have been decorated with street art. I am sure this work was commissioned and probably painted by local artists or art students.
The entire perimeter of the construction site is an underwater theme of divers, fish, sea monsters and other mysterious objects.
Otherwise dull and dreary walls have been transformed into an underwater scenery, which many pedestrians stop to admire and photograph. The only sad thing is that when the construction is complete the walls will come and artwork will be lost to us forever. I am glad I took these photos, that way I can always have another look and enjoy the artwork all over again.

a remarkable artist @claudiaz
yes I agree, thank you!
great post. It's a really good initiative and one that is used in London alot. Sometimes the work is saved ! even goes to a gallery but more often it is trashed. That's why I love to photograph ephemeral art. it might disappear at any minute, like this lovely piece which will be long gone

That seems so sad, so much love and passion goes into creating this art and then someone pulls it down! but at least we take photos so in a way it is preserved forever, especially if we share it with others. Thanks for the feedback.
