Forest Trickster | Original Illustration

Hey guys!

On this fine day, i wanna' share with you a picture i painted a little while ago of a Fox, who's definitely up to no good, or in fact, already sees his evil plans unfold as he cackles in malicious joy!

Foxes always fascinated me, as they are not only beautiful and fluffy, but also very smart, playful, agile, and they make the cutest sounds ever.

Because i adored them so much, most of the time i picked a fox to represent my art. However, i was always a bit torn on what animal to really choose for this, so i took a quiz a long time ago to help me out with this.

I also wanted it to fit very well with the epic fantasy theme, which i over time got even more nerdy over than i was before, especially when i started to read and watch Tolkiens and George RR Martins work, alongside getting into the lore of WoW.

So, to really get to the next level in terms of RP and immersion, i (don't judge!!) took a spirit animal test which i wanted to use to have my own sort of mascot that would represent my work. But i was too torn between what animal to choose, so this was pretty helpful haha!

I took a couple, and in every one of them i got a crow as result, with 1 of them giving me a fox. Finally the decision was made, but of course that didn't mean i would stop drawing foxes :)

Also it was fun to look back at my older stuff, so i figured i'd let you check it out too so you can see my "artist evolution" hehe!
