Pyrography Art + Watercolors - How I made some alphabet wood blocks - Part IV (Photos + video)
This is part four of this project of woodburning animals and letters on wood blocks. I'm making this for my baby cousin who is eight months old, so I still have a bit of time until I can finish the alphabet.
The previous letters with animals that I made were A - arici(hedgehog), B - balena(whale), C- cocos(rouster), D - delfin(dolphin), E - elefant(elephant), F- foca(walrus), G-girafa (giraffe), H-hipopotam(hippopotamus) and I-iepure(rabbit).
Today you can watch the video of how I made the letters J - jder(marten), K - koala(koala), L - lebada(swan), M - melc(snail), N - narval(narwhal), O - oaie(sheep).
Supplies:
- blocks of wood (5 x 5 x 5 cm)
- pencil
- watercolors
- brush
- eraser
- wood burning tool.
The first thing that I do, is made the animal drawings on the wood blocks, and the letters with a pencil. Then I woodburned the drawings, erase the pencil marks, if there are any left, and use watercolor to bring them to life.
wow this is such a beautiful gift for a child, I bet she will love them! I like the whale, it is sooo supercute ^^
Thank you! The narwhal is my favorite too. I have a few more to make the whole alphabet :)
looking forward to see the rest of them :)
It's going to take a few more parts :)
yes :D
good idea)
Thank you :)
The snail is my favourite (am I allowed to have favourites?), I adore snails (not to eat).
The snail reminded me of your drawing of the snail :) You are allowed to have favourites :)
I know in the video its speeded up but damn.. you are really amazing with the wood burner tool!!!!
The speed is 16 X. I wish I could move that fast :) Thank you!
I knew it was fast but you can still tell that your hand movementss are so confident and assured!!
I think that's because I have a little experience and I don't think anymore what if I make mistakes. If I make them I try to make the line thicker :) Problem solved.
They are fantastic, lucky child for sure. I adore the whale, of course they are my fav. I have to re-steem these they are too cute not to keep them going.
Thank you for the kind words, and the resteem.
How awesome is this?! Mint!
Thank you! Glad you like the idea!
Good works !
Thank you!
