The Church of the Holy Ghost
This particular church is right outside the Bern station. We had around 5 hours in Berne to move around. Not wanting to go far we decided to spend the time around the old city and the Bahnhofplatz the medieval city center of Bern, which is famous for its water fountains, each one of them having a very unique design. The Church was our very first place to visit. I am very fond of visiting all the places which has religious significance, then be it Church, Temple or Mosque. What I like the most in these places is the silence that it holds and because of which the energy is so peaceful in these places.
The Church of the Holy Ghost is a Swiss Reformed Church in Bern. It is a Swiss heritage site and a building of national significance in the Old City of Bern. It is one of the largest Swiss Reformed churches in Switzerland.
Some pictures inside the Church. It has a very pretty ceiling with a light pastel pink shade with simple and elegant designs on it.
Looks very impressive. All these old buildings have some amazing architectural designs.
It's quite a big church. Me and hubby sat here for some time in silence and then proceeded out going ahead with other places.
