Architecturalphotography HMAS Sydney II Memorial Geraldton Western Australia
The HMAS Sydney (2) was the pride of the Royal Australian Navy in WW2. She was lost with all hands off the coast of Western Australia 19 November 1941 as a result of a battle with the German merchant raider SMS Kormoran. You can find out more about the battle at the WA maritime museum.
The HMAS Sydney II memorial garden was created by the community of Geraldton WA
