The towers are another visiting card of Italy. The construction of its own tower was a privilege of the rich people. Therefore, you can often see several towers, such as in Bologna. It is believed that the higher the tower, the more money its owner has.

Of course, the most famous tower of Italy is the Pisa. By the way, this is not the only tower with a bias. Attempt to fall can be seen from every second ancient "skyscraper". This is mainly due to errors in construction. I will necessarily publish photos of the Tower of Pisa and tell about other architectural structures of "Fields of Miracles" in one of the following publications of my blog.

Today we are talking about the tower - the bell tower in Florence. It is called by the name of the architect Giotto, who started the construction. The tower was built for a long time - from 1298 to 1359 years. The tower is a prime example of Gothic architecture. Its height is almost 85 meters. As in most Italian towers inside, there is a staircase (414 steps), along which you can climb to the top platform and see the panorama of the city.

The tower is next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Baptistery. All of them have the same color range of the facing and look like one complex. The tower flickers beautifully in the sun thanks to its lining, which consists of three types of marble: blue-green, pink and white.

The Giotto belltower is pretty densely built around the houses. So here you can make interesting photos with a clear perspective.

Башни - еще одна визитная карточка Италии. Строительство собственной башни было привилегией богатых людей. Поэтому можно часто увидеть рядом сразу несколько башен, как в Болонье например. Считается, чем выше башня, тем обеспеченнее был её владелец.

Конечно, самая знаменитая башня Италии - Пизанская. Кстати, это не единственная башня с наклоном. Пытается упасть, пожалуй, каждая вторая древняя "высотка". Обусловлено это в основном ошибками в строительстве. Я обязательно опубликую фотографии Пизанской башни и расскажу о других архитектурных сооружениях "Поля чудес" в одном из следующих постов.

А сегодня речь идет о башне - колокольне во Флоренции. Называют её по имени архитектора Джотто, который инициировал и начал строительство. Возводилась башня довольно долго - с 1298 по 1359 год. Башня считается ярким примером готической архитектуры. Её высота почти 85 метров. Как и в большинстве итальянских башен внутри есть лестница (414 ступеней), по которой можно подняться на верхнюю площадку и осмотреть панораму города.

Башня находится рядом с кафедральным собором Санта Мария дель Фьоре и Баптистерием. Все они имеют одинаковую цветовую гамму облицовки и смотрятся единым комплексом. Башня красиво переливается на солнце благодаря своей облицовке, состоящей из трех видов мрамора: сине-зеленого, розового и белого.

Колокольня Джотто довольно плотно застроена домами вокруг. Поэтому здесь можно сделать интересные фотографии с ярко выраженной перспективой.
