吉隆坡市中心有一座原始森林，那里矗立着吉隆坡的地标-吉隆坡塔。
In the heartland of Kuala Lumpur, lies a natural forest where the famous Kuala Lumpur Tower located.

说起这一座森林，非常有趣的是它的名字是“同一地名，各自表述”- 因为我们华社是叫它为咖啡山，可是官方/马来社会却是称它为黄梨山（凤梨或菠萝）Bukit Nanas。我也不清楚为何同一座山却被不同社群称为不一样水果的山名，难道山一边的华社以前种咖啡，而马来社会种黄梨（自己的猜想）。而这不同的称呼以前在没有谷歌地图的年代，为我带来了很多困扰- 想怎么小小吉隆坡市中心竟然有两座山，很神奇。
Talking about this forest, it's interesting to know that it's been called different names in different society- The Chinese society calls it Coffee Hill but the government /Malay Society name it Pineapple Hill or Bukit Nanas in Malay.

I have no idea why is it being called in different fruits name, my personal guess would be maybe different society farmers harvest different fruits in this hill back then? Since it's called differently, it had previously confused me a lot of wondering why would there be 2 hills next to each other in the KL center as we did not have google map those years, kinda difficult to verify the place.

这一座原始森林在吉隆坡塔未建竣前，就大有名声了，因为那里有两间著名的英校- 男校 St John 与女校 Convent Bukit Nanas。这两所学校也是最古老的校园之一。
This primitive jungle way before the KL tower was established there, were already well known because of the two English schools there -St John Boy School and Convent Bukit Nanas. These 2 famous schools are among the oldest school in Malaysia.

想到要去吉隆坡塔旁的森林保留区，是因为在脸书上看到了有人分享那里的新游点-就是吊桥，而且挺高的，可以远眺吉隆坡市景，就乘着回到吉隆坡的时间，去了那里。
And the main driving factor to visit this forest reserved land is because I saw someone share the new tourist attraction there-The hanging bridge. The bridge is of 4,5 storey tall and you will have good panaroma view of KL city center.

这座森林保留区是免费公开给大众的，只是开放时间到傍晚6点，想进内参观的游客得留意了。
Entry to the park is free for public, but do take note that the park close at 6pm. If you would like to visit, please arrange accordingly.

吊桥还挺高的，中间段还可以看到圣约翰中学校园，学校建筑屋顶还用来打广告呢！
The hanging bridge is pretty high, at the middle of it, you can see the St John school compound and saw they even have a building rooftop rented out for advertisement !

有兴趣植物的朋友，还可以扫描QR码，了解这周边特定古树的故事。
If you are interested in plant, you could scan the QR code to know more about the stories about the old trees.

去到尾端，可以选择走在地上更近距离欣赏咖啡山森林，不然原路折回也可以。
When you reach to the end, you can choose to walk on the park foot path to get closer with the trees, or else you can take the same hanging bridge route return to origin.

傍晚6点，森林区要关门时，别太快走开，因为这时是这里的居民-金丝猴觅食的时间。老猴它们有些会拨开灌木里面的嫩叶来吃-老猴吃嫩草。
Around 6pm, before the park closed, do not leave so soon, as this time is the monkeys and their family finding food time. Some older monkeys would pick the plant leave by the road side.

吉隆坡塔的安保也为金丝猴带来了一些面包，许多外国游客也驻足观赏喂食猴子。
KL tower security guards brought these monkeys some bread, and tourists all like to take photos of them during feeding time.

这座森林就在吉隆坡塔旁，所以我个人觉得比较吉隆坡市内的两座著名高楼-国油双峰塔与吉隆坡塔，我会较推荐游客到来吉隆坡塔这里登高看市景，因为这边比较多有趣的游点。
This park is just next to KL tower, as such comparing the 2 famous tall building in KL-the Petronas Twin Towers and KL tower, I would prefer to recommend travellers to come KL tower for city view as there are many more interesting stuffs around this travel spot.
