Many of you are most likely aware of the ongoing ICO of Appics that will be a first SMT that will run on Steemit blockchain. I am personally very excited to see the final product and will utilize the platform to further support my efforts and curation of many talented photographers that are boarding Steemit.
For those of you that are not aware of the Appics, you can get more details on their greatly designed website www.appics.com. To shortly describe the Appics product, just imagine Steemit in the form of Instagram and more. Like with Steemit, the value of the platform will not go back to its shareholders but back to its users that are creating the added value. That added value will be paid through a cryptocurrency reward-token (XAP). Besides photo and video sharing the Appics users will be able to spend their earned XAP tokens in the integrated market place and use the build in wallet for transfers to other users or to exchanges and cash out.
So are you in? Have you already secured your XAP tokens? If not you do have a last chance to use a 5% discount.
What are your thoughts on Appics? Would be great to hear your opinion. I cannot personally wait for the app to come out to life in Q3 - Q4 2018. I am sure it will be a great start of our first integrated SMT on Steemit blockchain that will further drive its value. Bring it on!

Its important for Appics to be successful, the first SMT needs to be a good example.

Visit the website and follow the instructions. It is very simple. Works great. You get you XAP tokens shortly after you transfer your crypto.

As a wannabe photographer and someone who loves Instagram, you can imagine that I'm excited to try this platform out. But I'm on the fence about buying tokens now. I'm pretty well versed in crypto but I don't really want to open a MEW for this. That's pretty much the only way to buy tokens, right? Am I being ridiculous for not wanting a MEW?
Ledger and Trezor supports MEW so there is no need to worry about that as you can store it offline Problem solved:).....

I think it is a great idea, steemit has already brought so much and I find it fantastic so I guess "appics" will be a great thing too and frankly I don't why it wouldn't. I can't wait for the app to be available too :)
