Natural Treatments for Anxiety Disorder

A lot of people don't know that anxiety disorder can be overcome without using drugs. Taking medications is not the best way to overcome anxiety disorder.
It is possible to overcome anxiety disorder without a single dose of medication.
Before we go on discussing anxiety disorder. First of all, we need to understand what anxiety is all about.

Anxiety
Anxiety can be termed as "worry" about upcoming important events, fear about what the future has in stock; exam preparations, addressing crowd , asking a lady out, or spotting dangerous animals. But, naturally It is normal to be worried. Everyone does it. However, fear, nervous, or worry, is completely different from suffering from an anxiety related disorder.

Anxiety Disorder
In anxiety disorder; fear, and worry, will hunt for long, and if not properly taken care of it may hunt forever. Anxiety disorder brings about negative effect on the sufferers' day to day activities. Anxiety disorder will affect the persons' performances in life and this always bring about bad results.

Types of Anxiety disorders.

1.Generalized anxiety Disorder- This is a type of anxiety disorder characterized by chronic anxiety, uncontrollable fear, worry and tension. Even when there is nothing to cause the fear, worry or even tension.

2.Social phobia- This is a type of anxitey disorder that "causes fear of speaking in formal or informal situations." This type, the sufferer experiences trauma any time they are around people.

3.Post traumatic stress disorder - This type of anxiety disorder occurs after the person had experienced a traumatic situation e.g armed robbery attack. sexual assault, accident, or natural disaster.

4.Panic Disorder - This type of anxiety is characterized by "unexpected and repeated episodes of fear" which is followed by physical unease such as shortness of breadth, heart palpitations, chest pain etc.
5.Obsessive compulsive disorder - This is characterized by unwanted thoughts(obsessions) . Repetitive behaviours such as washing of hands severally; repetitive cleaning with the hope of removing obsessive thoughts.

Natural treatments
Anxiety attack can be as a result of low blood sugar. Hence, avoid starving yourself. Eat more of vegetables as well. Take a lot of fish oil, this is very good for the heart, it reduces depressions. Think of positive things; things that can boost your confidence, things that can make you happy. Think of the present situation, forget about the bad past. Rather than worrying about the future, just plan towards the future and then believe that it is well. Don't stay alone for long. Go out and socialize. Eating proteins like egg which is a top source of choline; choline is very important in reducing anxiety. Breathe deeply; "you can't breathe deeply and be anxious at the same time".
