Time to talk about one of my favorite animes and that is Cowboy Bebop. This anime takes place in the future where human beings have explored beyond the earth and inhabit different planets. The atmosphere of the world is pretty awesome, you know flying spaceships, intergalactic time gates, the works. However, the most interesting part of this anime is the characters.
- Spike- a former gang member turned mercenary. He has a troubled past due to leaving the gang as they killed his girlfriend. It’s one of those gangs where you join for life, literally. He has a calm cool exterior and doesn't take life too seriously.
- Jet- A former police officer turned mercenary. He now serves the law in a different way. He is also the owner of the spaceship (Bebop) that the crew calls home. He has a very stern demeanor and is quite serious.
- Fay Valentine- A lady who racked up a ton of debt, and who was also, put in a deep sleep. She suffered from amnesia upon being awoken and the hospital charged her with over a million oolong for using their services. I don’t even know if she remembers her own name according to the story. She can be quite feisty when she doesn't get her way.
- Ed- A technical genius who hales from a neighboring planet. She even remote controlled Jet’s ship and landed it back on her planet so she could join the crew!! Not much is known about her backstory except that she is an orphan. She adds a sense of wackiness and innocence to the crew.
- Ein - A cute dog that’s really all I can say about him
The way they end up meeting is very interesting and that is something you should watch on your own. It’s a very enjoyable adventure all 26 episodes of the show will make you feel a variety of emotions. Especially the different (bounties) they go after. It’s a pretty cool show and I don’t want to spoil the end for you. Check it out!!
