Stop Review & Improve
The Process

I’ve been thinking about the importance of the review process. How important is it exactly to slow down and review what you have been working on. For you it could mean a personal project, job interview, vacation plans, upcoming test or date. There are times in our lives when we want to rush ahead with everything especially if we are on the path to success. It is important to stop and go through the review process every now and then. You could be missing an important lesson in that series that you are planning on teaching to your students that day. If a plumber did not look over all the tools he has, when it comes time to do the work he might not have the right tool for the job.
Perhaps you have an inkling feeling that some aspect of what you are working on could be improved. Maybe an idea pops in your head and you start thinking – (yeah this would be great if it was added on to my current project/event) situations like this are common. This is one of the reasons why I say it is important to follow your intuition. Another reason might be that you want to get feedback on the work you have done so far, bouncing ideas off your fellow peers is a great way to enhance the review process since other people can offer their world view on your ideas.
At any rate going over what you have been working on will only sharpen your skills in the long run and that is an experience that should not be taken for granted. So you should go back, go back and review whatever it is you have been studying, pursuing, planning and make any adjustments or improvements that you feel are necessary. The goal of human nature is an ever evolving process that is what brought us to our current state at the moment. I’m going to review and improve myself today what are you going to do?

You are right. Only by stopping to review our actions to date and examining the effects they have had can we make effective plans to move forward.
