Levy is a member of the Fairy Tail Guild's team Shadow Gear, along with Jet and Droy. She has a cheerful personality, being able to get along with many other guild members. Levy loves to read books, she and Lucy Heartfilia quickly became friends through their mutual love for books. Levy read the novel that Lucy is working on and is the only person who has done so by consent.
Levy's magic is called Solid Script Magic. Solid Script Magic allows her to write words which then turn solid and are then thrown at her opponent. For instance, if the word FIRE were to be cast at her opponent, the victim would be hit with by a fireball in the shape of the word FIRE.
