AnimalPhotography - Common Warthog - You call me Mr Pig!
One of my favourite animals to watch is the warthog, aka Pumbaa from The Lion King. They are a member of the pig family and are always busy... playing in mud, eating while standing on their knees or running somewhere. If they are alert and in a hurry their tails go up, looking like antennas! ;)
They mostly move in families and it is awesome to follow their relational interactions. I saw these guys in the Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa.
And here is a very brave pig... turning his back on a buffalo!
Camera: Canon EOS 400D with 300mm zoom lens
Location: Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa
Keep exploring...

Amazing shot! I know how it feels when you have to make sure that they are not going to attack you.

Dangerous beast!
Good photo!
haha, thanks. ;)
Here in the philippines we called that pig is baboy ramo.
Mmm, they are part of the same family, but we have a pig here in South Africa that is closer to a "baboy ramo"... it is called a Bush Pig.
Hell of a set of tusks they have there.
Yup, don't want to be mauled by those. ;)
