Reptile Encounters

This was taken last time we went back to New Orleans. These guys were located in the Reptile Encounter at the Audubon Zoo , which is pretty massive by the way. One could easily spend the entire day there and still not see all the animals. You can definitely manage to see everything there , but I find it better to spend a bit more time at the animals you really want to see.

I don't remember exactly what species this was , but I thought they were pretty cool looking and I thought their eyes were interesting.
