LOYALTY

Some people never go above and beyond for their partners but because they don't cheat,they think they are God's gift.

In my opinion,staying faithful in a relationship is the bare minimum.I'm tired of people using loyalty alone to stress how much of a cash they are.

"You will never find a guy/a girl like me!people ain't built like me! I'm so loyal..."

Okay you stay faithful....but are you a supportive partner ? Do you prioritise your partner when necessary? Do you talk to your partner with respect ? Do you regularly consider their needs ?

There are women who stay faithful to their man but they are also self-centered,rude, inconsiderate and uncaring.

There are men who stay faithful to their women but they are also selfish,verbally abusive,controlling and egoistical.

LOYALTY DOESN'T MAKE YOU A PERFECT PARTNER.

Enough people are failing to achieve the bare minimum so the bare minimum is now being treated like this amazingly honorable feat.The bar has been lowered so much that we are putting people on pedestals for doing the least that is expected in a relationship.

When being faithful is put on a grand pedestal,it convinces people to stay in relationships with individuals who posses subpar character just because they are worried that they won't find someone else who is loyal.

LOYALTY SHOULDN'T BE THE ONLY REASON YOU'RE WITH SOMEONE.

If you're with someone who stays faithful to you but sucks in everyother department as a partner,Let them go.

The emotional stress you think you are avoiding because you're not being cheated on,is just manifesting incrementally via less obvious aspects of your unhappiness.
