Women's Health: 5 Things Every Woman Must Know! (part 1)

Women are delicate beings. There are definitely alot that everyone needs to know about their health to help them stay healthy everyday and enjoy life. The points we will list here are definitely peculiar to women.
Things women must know

1- Excess Exercises Disrupt Periods

Like I have detailed in an earlier article about the relationship between the monthly cycle and behaviour, it's worth noting that alot of a woman's body function is related to periods.

Your diet, sleeping time/duration, sex regularity and even exercise schedules affect when / how long/ how heavy a period is. Think about that the next time you hit the gym.


2- Learn How To Do Kegel Exercises

Kegel exercises help you to improve the strength of your pelvic floor. Your pelvis houses your urinary tract, female genitals and fecal tract(rectum/anus). It therefore follows that Kegels will improve the quality of all 3 of these.

Your urinary stream will be sharper and you can easily hold pee. Also you have a tighter vagina which improves love making. Childbirth is enhanced so you can push easily.

It's beyond the scope of this article to completely describe Kegels. Perhaps we will delve into it in a later post.


3- You Can Get Better Physical Features Naturally

Many women use artificial routes to try to achieve a better physique but they may end up in harm's way more often than not. My advice is that you should stay natural.

You want a big bum? Learn how to do your squats. We will write an article about that soon. You want more figure 8 shape? Do your situps to reduce the size of your tummy.


4- Don't Joke With Breast Lump or Nipple Discharge

In this era where breast cancer has claimed a considerable number of lives, it will be illiteracy not to take note of the changes in /on your breast(s).

Feel your breasts (self-examination) regularly. If you find any lump please immediately visit a doctor for proper examination and assessment. DO NOT JOKE WITH THIS!

Early detection is the only way to prevent a cancer from spreading. Delay is dangerous!


5- You Are Amazing Just The Way You Are!

So many people beat themselves up because they gained a few kgs or even lost a few. In as much as you should monitor your weight and entire health, don't be too obsessive about it.

Don't let anyone tell you you are ugly or "fat". If you think you need a change, please do change. It's your choice after all.
