10 things I’ve learned from Midnight Sun.

1. Sometimes, love is a bittersweet ending. It ends abruptly. It tends to be short-lived.

2. Love is about creating wonderful memories. You might not end up together, but all the memories will remain forever.

3. Love is about acceptance. It is about accepting someone’s flaws and imperfections. It is about making sacrifices. It is about sticking through thick and thin.

4. A parent’s love is unconditional and priceless. They will do everything for us. They want the best for us. If only they can carry the burden that we are carrying.

5. True love is about letting go. It is about accepting the fact that some good things are not meant to last.

6. When you love, be ready to be hurt. Be ready to embrace pain.

7. The best part about loving is having someone whom you can share your adventures.

8. It is one of the best feelings to have someone who loves you without buts and ifs.

9. Cherish someone’s presence. Make them feel love and valued, because the next thing you know is, they are already gone.

10. True love does not really mean that you have to end up together. Sometimes, it is the other way around. Pour all that you have so when the person is gone, you do not have regrets.
