MALEE mountain climbing

expedition of MOUNTAIN MALE OF ACEH
This expedition began with a ridiculous chat in a coffee shop, when my team leader joked about doing an expedition while opening a Topographic map. Accidentally he saw a mountain whose mountain name was written Malle mountain or a mountain of shame in Indonesian it is said that the residents around the mountain were always covered in fog so it was said to be a shame mountain. Our climb began on June 22, 2018.
Before carrying out the climb we first gave news to the Aceh tracker Team as the community monitoring us during the expedition and also not forgetting the SAR. we departed by using three motorbikes, two of them automatic and one duck motorbike. We departed from the village of Cureh Bireuen to the village of Sama Gading in the district of Pandrah. in the village the deadline for the paved road after that is full of large rocks which are enough to make the motorcycle shaken
After arriving at PINTO RIMBA or the jungle door we immediately set up tents to spend the night. When morning we immediately moved into the forest. At the beginning of the trip, there were traces of wood transporting cars, reportedly the route was abandoned in the 80s. The car's path is far enough to take us into the forest. until we arrived at the peak of Gle Leuboi, where we set up camp there. That night we were short of water and shortly after setting up a relief tent it came in the form of rain which made our 2 bottles of water filled again.
The next morning we had breakfast only in the form of bread because of lack of water. in fact our trip didn't go according to plan. after breakfast we continued the journey with a little faded because of lack of coffee, knowing that the morning was not beautiful if it was not welcomed coffee. Taklam walked we found a river that was supposed to be on the edge of the river, we set up Camp. we rested for quite a long time in the river because cooking for lunch we actually did not cook every afternoon because it was time consuming. But what do we say we have breakfast in the morning. We continued walking at 2:00 p.m. so that we set up a tent on the male mountain ridge at 5:30
On the third day we started the trip this time we went back with anxiety because our water bottles were empty but soon after the afternoon 3 pm we fell down the mountain there we found a source of water. At six in the afternoon we arrived at the peak of the malee

In the morning we looked for Dutch-made pillars in the colonial period. But unfortunately we only found the excavation that we thought excavated was the location of the pillar. We really came home with disappointment but it's okay. Every climb teaches meaningful things.
