The moment you arrive at the Evercrest Golf Course (jumpoff) you will feel the same cool breezefelt by the visitors of Tagaytay. Mt. Batulao is a very interesting destination here in Philippines.
The mountain is quite remarkable especially when you reach the summit. You will see the view of spectacular boulder formations and expansive grasslands. The gorilla-shaped ridge line near the summit is also a must-see, as well as the amazing 360-degree view of Batangas and its neighboring cities.

History:
Why it was called “Batulao”. “Batulao” came from the “Bato na umi-ilaw” (lightning rock), it was observed during the "ber" month, where the sun sets right in the middle of Batulao‘s two crests, producing a figure of rocks surrounding a disc of red light.
At the summit, you will have a panoramic view of Taal Lake, the Batangas and Cavite provinces, the South China Sea and the mountains of Pico de Loro and Mt. Maculot.
I thank God everytime I reach the summit and witness the creation of his own hand. How God created everything according to his purpose.
