Introducing myself...as a mountaineer

Hi! Steemit Community! I would like to introduce myself. My name is Lovy from the Philippines. I do love traveling, mountaineering, making scrapbooking, painting, and volleyball.

Way back college days, I decided to be part of a school organization “Mountaineering Club”, sound like a very challenging for a simple woman like me. We all know that mountaineering is very dangerous and it requires endurance, proper training, and patience.

This is our major climb in the Itogon, Benguet, Philippines

Mt. Ugo is found in the Cordillera Region. It was also compared to the heights of Mt. Pulag . Mountaineers can also use the traverse connecting Vizcaya and Benguet is a challenging trail that serves as the southeast entrance to the Cordillera mountain chain.

Mt. Ugo is a 2,086 masl (meter above sea level) boundaries of Nueva Vizcaya and Benguet

Jump-off points: Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya; Brgy. Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet
The days required to reach the summit is 2-3 days approximately 9-10 hours

We reached the summit and it was very cold.

Indeed it was a great experience to reach the summit of the MT. UGU, Itogon, Benguet, Philippines
