My last post was about how I adore nature. I feel at home every time I connect with nature. If I were given a choice of a holiday to a famous city or a place by the beach, I would choose the latter.

Here is my last post on nature:

Nature's calling #1

Rappelling

This is my first time doing this activity. Rappeling is a form of rock climbing where you descent at a 90degrees rock using rope. It is not the highest rappelling test for me but it is ok for a first timer.

ATV Ride

Atv ride is the most fun ride ever. I feel like a kid again. We rode for almost 2 hours in the rough terrain with great scenery and enjoyable team work.

I had the cute orangie one ^_^

Great day with great team

Kayaking

I have a minor experience in kayaking. Last time I went kayaking was at a beginners course. At that time I was learning using a single kayak. Kayaking is a very good upper body workout. It was raining that morning when we started and the waves were kinda scary but we knew we were in good hands of experienced trainer. That is needed when you have a big group of people.

Two kayak flipped around due to the waves and poor handling. I got a good shot at one for our team amusement later ^_^

Making this formation wasn't easy as the waves keep us from breaking our formation. And then the front man needs to stand up while balancing the kayak. It was fun though.

Overall I had a great time working out with my team. Apart from this, we had enjoyable time snorkeling, beach run, water confident, building a raft and ride that raft. Going home, our whole body was sore due to the back to back activities. I guess it is a great workout particularly to participate in outdoor activities in the mean time appreciating nature.

Jen is sore...

Hahahha, just have to point out that the phrase "Nature's calling/Nature calls" also means that you need to pee.

lol!! some of my team mate use that phrases few times! then straight to the bush lol!

There is an actual company, in the U.S. called Natures Calling Inc. Source: http://www.naturescallinginc.com/

HAHAHHAHAHAAH portable rest room! OMG you make me crack!

That is the first thing I thought of when I saw your post.

And your phone survived all the waves! Hooray for you! It is actually quite dangerous but I am pretty sure you got your phone handled well.
You are one tough Jen (Jane) ! I have not done rock climbing before and I do know that kayaking is quite challenging if your arms are not strong. I tried that a few years back. Great cardio workout!
I have not been to Pulau Pangkor for ages. Will need to save some aside for this when the time comes.
Going to resteem for you first and upvote later when I am powered up again.

I use Go pro for most of my shots and combined with shot from our trainers from a bot. Last time I bought a cheaper Xiao Mi and it is broken. I guess it comes with the low quality. Burned my money away.

Yeah that kayaking making my arms sore until now lol! Thanks for the resteeming my previous post! you rock!

Ah well, if you see me resteem, you will know your post rocks!

I really do think of getting a go pro later, because that will help me to take a lot of pictures that I will not be able to take on time haha.

How much was yours? I think Xiao Mi doesn't really work well for me either. I have Mei Zu (Xiao Mi's original phone designer before they split), not the best phone in the world but managed to survive till now (after dropped multiple times and had a crack). It sometimes jams due to overload but I think all china phones have trouble allocating / combining memory for proper memory usage, and they heat up fast especially with the continuous upgrades from Google.

My Go Pro costs me around RM2k not including extra accessories. For now, I am very satisfied with it. In KL there's a lot of 3rd party accessories, no need to buy everything original. I make sure only battery and my remote control is original lol. still have my cheapskate nature

Yes. The basic set around 1.9k

The ATV ride looks really fun! The only time I took an ATV was in Sunway Lagoon. :P
