Papaya or in its Latin name referred to as Carica papaya is a tropical fruit native to South America. Although first cultivated in Mexico, papaya is very easy to develop in Indonesia and widely available both in traditional markets and supermarkets.
The price of this fruit is also quite affordable when compared with other fruits. However, make no mistake. Although cheap, the fruit has a sweet taste has a high nutrient content is very beneficial for health, ranging from skin care to hypertension and cancer prevention.
