Arabis alpina - Actifit Report: September 15
My Saturday Actifit Report includes walking, cycling and this beatiful plant Arabis alpina, which I shot at knife-edge ridge Koncheto.
Arabis alpina inhabits damp gravels and screes, often over limestone.
Also known as Alpine rock-cress, it is a flowering plant in the family Brassicaceae.
The stems grow up to 40 cm tall, and are topped with loose heads of white, four-petalled flowers. The leaves on Arabis alpina in the basal rosette are long, strongly toothed.
