My Actifit Report Card and ulog: Thai Wedding

Early morning gym session was the same like yesterday. After that we hurried off to teach this morning. Yet, it was only a morning session as we were invited to attend a Thai wedding. Sam's mother's cousin's son was getting married and Sam's uncle was the honorary guest (or sponsor is what they call it here). So, we felt obliged as a family to attend. It was a first for us, in terms of, going to a Thai wedding. Although, Sam's sister and brother have had Thai aspects in their wedding, this one was a proper one. There was a monk chanting, blessing and offering in the early morning, which we did not attend due to other commitments. After that, there was a water blessing, which was followed by loads of photo opportunities. Yet, we turned up for the important part... Lunch. Yes, never say no to free food. It was also interesting to see how similar and different weddings can be from culture to culture. Becca got involved in the proceedings by going up to try and catch the bouquet. Funnily enough, it landed on someone who was sitting at a table, which turned out to be the bride's mother's boss. She was in her 60s and married already...so she took it as a sign for her own daughter, who wasn't there, but is single. Here are some photos from the wedding:
