♉🔥My Actifit Journey🔥♉ [12.23.18] It's a wild, wild life! and a shout out to my Grandfather 💪💖
Got to see some Wild Turkeys this morning while I was out for my walk, that was pretty cool. Also confirmed that there's definitely a good amount of Deer Traffic in The Reiki Forest which totally lit me up <333
There's been at least 3 of them coming every night (for more than a few weeks now) to bed down in my yard, fairly close to my house, not too far away from my kitchen window. I've been stoked about that, but when I walked through the forest the other day (and again today) I noticed quite a bit of their shite and prints which tells me its a very high traffic trail with more Deer bedding down in the forest that I haven't been able to otherwise visually confirm (yes I will be putting trail cams up in the near future). YAY ANYWAYS! As I knowww they are totally feeling the vibe I've been grounding into the land daily since we moved here in 2014. I'm thankful for such confirmation, as my forest is indeed intended to be a sanctuary for wildlife...even as small as it may be ;)
Oh the joyssss....It's only going to get even better from here!
You'll have to settle for photos of their tracks & shite as proof for now (if you feel you need it), as I refuse to disturb my Deer Fam and risk ruining the bond I am slowly but steadily forming with them. When the time is right, I will snap some pictures and share them...as for now however, I am happy enough to see them with my own eyes each night.
Switching gears a bit - I want to share some DeepDreamified Art & Photos of my Grandfather (on my Father's side).
Why? Simply because he is not only one of my biggest inspirations in life but I am feeling him press strongly upon my heart today.
Plus he would have been the most beastly of all Actifitters in his day, I assure you! So it's fitting to give him a shout out in this post :)
He used to InJoy bending railroad tie spikes with his hands and doing pinch grip pull ups on a 2x4, just to name a couple things. Perhaps I will share more about him someday...but if you would like to read a little blurb about him, check this out.

I've also wondered how they survive and thrive. They are teaching me alot as I observe them and continue my works here. I am most amazed by the little birds that pull off sticking around through Winter. Crazy awesomeness.

hey reikigirl what are pinch grip pullups? I mean I know what regular pullups are but not pinch grip. Very exciting about the deer. They don't know you very well so they might stay awhile until they do.
Have you ever pinched anything 😂😂😂They are exactly what they sound like Cowboy. Pinch a 2x4 and pull your ass up 💪💪💪hahaha

oh my gosh! talk about finger and grip strength! I suppose you can do those too? No wonder you have Beast genes and can tear up actifit at will. Hey what if the deer don't want to be photographed?
😂 that is insane strength💪 actually I am not able to do those @janton ..my brother can, but sadly not me! lol ..as for the deer, I am respecting that possibility (for now) we'll see how things develop as we go. They seem to particularly appreciate the areas I've done the most work in so far..and since they sleep pretty close by, I think that's a good start and moving in the right direction 🙏given enough time I'll get a selfie with them at some point😎🙌💖

That will be amazing and I'm sure it''s coming. yeah those pinch grip pullups look crazy, I doubt if I ever could have done those, and you neither but you have other areas of tremendous strength like your core and legs, back, shoulders, probably arms or else how could you do all that snow shoveling?

what the?? hey you already had deer there the whole time? I thought you were working at getting them to stay in your forest so you could get close to them. Wow that is awesome! They're pretty used to humans then.
That's along the path I walk all the time...not in my forest. I don't think they're used to or trusting of humans to be perfectly honest. As you can see I didn't invade her personal space, just got close enough for the selfie. I'm sure she didn't bolt because I have no ill intent..which is why they are finally starting to live in my forest. Plus all the rehabilitation work I've done so far. This is the first year they've been bedding down here on my property and passing through so much (I've been paying close attention). It won't be long before my relationship grows even stronger with them 😍🙌🙏😎 the trust is forming💪✨✨✨
