My Actifit Report Card: October 6 2019
Pumpkin, and my morning walk
Another quite day, did get to the beach again this morning for about 6K steps, was a little warmer than yesterday but the wind was really blowing this morning, I even got a little running in chasing after my cap which blew off my head twice, The rest of the day I was either watching Rugby watching a movie with my wife and doing things around the house, and so I do apologize I have not been very active on here today, tomorrow I will try and be more active :)
I decided to start this evenings post with something different than sunrise or beach shots, I mentioned yesterday the pumpkins on the pier Event, well that was all packed up this morning but there was one pumpkin remaining which I will share a few shots of and then get to my iPhone shots from this mornings walk, That said I did take some shots of the sunrise with my phone as it was nice so if you want to see those you will have to scroll down to see them.

As you can see whoever did this pumpkin not only carved but decorated it, I wonder why they left it on the bench.

As I mentioned above It was quite Windy this morning and I even saw some tumbleweed blowing along the Boardwalk, OK not exactly sure it is Tumbleweed strictly speaking but there were a few of these plants that had been blown out of the ground and were tumbling along the boardwalk

It was quite cloudy this morning but that lead to some nice color in the sky even if only for a couple of minutes.

As you can see I was not the only one catching shots of the sunrise this morning, this guy had driven down from Hartford ( a little under an hours drive ) to catch the sunrise and was a fellow Sony user

Kinda magical how everyone gets pumpkins, defines and creates their own leading up to Halloween event you celebrate over there.
Sunrise is always a gorgeous time to be on the beach, something I truly miss (with it being dangerous over here), you need to go down as a group, not a reality with my lot of late risers.
That is such huge a pity that its to dangerous to go to the each alone there :(
Ohh yeah the pumpkin growers must love this time of year
I think that is what I miss the most about yesteryear and now, the freedom to go out and not look over your shoulder constantly, no matter where you go.
Traditions are lovely to have where everyone is involved, over here the pumpkin would be on a table in no time at all, without any celebration just food.
Ohh yeah I remember growing up i never had to carry a key to the house the door was always unlocked till my Dad went to bed and locked the door, well I think t did I just remember it as always unlocked, I dont think that is done anywhere these days

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.
That is a really cool pumpkin. I always did them when I was a kid, but I was never a big fan of it . Something about having to touch all of the gooey stuff inside was never that fun to me. Plus I am not much of an artist so without a template, I was always assured an ugly jack o lantern.
I have done it a couple of times wit the grandkids it was never a big thin down under when i was a kid, I dont mind it but maybe because its ot as bad as how dirty ou get harvesting this which i did when I worked at a market gardens
