My Actifit Report Card: August 7 2019
A crystal Ball, the street and a tall sail ship
For this evenings acifit post I share some photos taken with my iPhone, I had a lot to do today including an early meeting so didn't have time for a walk before heading to the office, but I did take a couple of loops around the office and a bit of a walk at lunchtime to get a reasonable amount of steps in today and got a bit of a variety of shots to share
Starting with this shot in the Main concourse of Grand Central, which was inspired by @kunschj, who recently has shared some shots with his Crystal ball, so I brought mine into the city today and took a few shots of it with my Sony Camera in different spots.
Not the greatest of shots with my phone but i think you can see what I am going to try and get with it, with the Little world in the ball

That tall ship is so cool! And I love the perspective with the crystal ball. I also appreciate your empathy and including the shot of the homeless person in here. It reminds us to care about others and be grateful for what we have. Blessings!
Ohh I so wish I had my sony camera with me when I saw that tall ship, I did consider running back intot he building, down the long corridor up to my office to get it, but realized it would take to long to get up there and back so I just snapped those shots with my phone and enjoyed the view of it
Thanks for the resteem truly appreciated !tip

I love the photo of the crystal ball, it is an interesting photo. I'm a big fan of the old ships. Years ago we went on a cruise in the Boston Harbor when all the tall ships were in town.
I tried googling to see what ship it was but I didn't find anything about it I too love old ships so it was so cool to see this one
I took a bunch of shots with the Crystal ball Hopefully this weekend I will find time to edit some of them
What a fun walk today @tattoodjay :) Love those door handles, such detail! The sailing ships, you don't see those too often and of course your crystal ball. Life certainly looks different when you're looking through a crystal ball. Cheers to a great day!
I never know what I will come up with fir my actifit post each day sometimes a theme or related photos other times like this post totally random lol

Once you retire, you can start a fortune telling business with that crystal ball hahaha.
Some great photos here and sadly that homeless guy reminds me about our dire situation over here with so many unemployed people.
That looking up photo is also great.
And of course that long sail ship takes the cake.
Blessings!
LOL at me becoming a fortune teller not much chance of that I think, but i can have fun with it taking photos at least
Yes seeing homeless on the streets is very sad and does remind me of the hardships I have seen around the world in my travels
I considered racing back up to my desk to get my sony camera when I saw the tall ship, but I realized with the time it would take to get there and back it would have passed on by the time I got back so I didnt bother
I spent a long time in hospital and I don't know if I told you that I built a model ship in there?
It was the "Mayflower" and when it was finished I fell in love with long sail ships. My young son eventually destroyed it, but the love has remained.
Blessings!
I did not know that and how cool is that you built the model at that time and cool how it lead to your love of tall ships :)
My favorite picture is the one of the homeless guy. Not because the guy is homeless, but because you can see your reflection in the door and I know that you prefer to be on the other side of the camera! :)
LOL I did notice that my reflection was there but went with it anyway and though maybe no one would notice it LOL

Cool, so you have got your crystal ball shot now officially 😉 I think, @kunschj will like it.
I like the other photos too, apart from the homeless. Not, because it is a bad photo, but because it reminds me on the first homeless I have seen in my life, when I was about 18. It was in Paris, and the homeless people slept also on the sidewalk under cardboards. I have never seen such before, and it was a shock for me, that people have to live this way, which I have never forgotten.
I have had no chance this morning to absolve any of my tasks - it was cloudy and foggy on the mountain - no sunrise to see ...
Never mind, next time will be better :)
I took a bunch yesterday of all kinds of subjects not sure how they came out didn’t have time last night
Foggy can be cool though or kind of moody which is also very cool
I can wait for your crystal ball photos, as long as I have not made any myself ;)
I love fog and foggy images, but not when I expect a sunrise 😭
Hopefully some of the photos I have taken of the foggy landscape or the animals up there (cows and horses...) have become any good.
Yes indeed fog can for sure soil a sunrise without a doubt
Nima’s in fog now that does sound very interesting I must say
What's "Nima's" ? lol You don't make so many typos anymore, or maybe I have got so used to them, that I can read fluently ;) ... but when you make one, then it's delicious - Nima's for Animals, great 😊
But I must admit, that nearly all photos were for the bin, and the few, which I didn't delete, have to be heavily edited. I wished I would have had my long lens with me, but I didn't want to carry this extra weight :(
LOL thats is a good Typo, Or I should say that Nimas is the Ancient Greek work for animals particularly animals found in the fog
OK I admit that is a typo and of course I meant animals sorry to hear most of the photos were for the bin, I hate when we get caught our that conditions change or we see something else and wish we had another lens with us but there is no way we can carry al the lens with us every time
Ancient Greek :) lol
I don't know why, but most photos were blurred, although the shutterspeed was fast enough. Too late to moan, I should have looked, when I shot them, and a few photos were alright, as far as I have seen. I will see in the next days, what I can do with them :)
Sometimes for me I get a shot that looks fine onthe camera screen but when I see it on the computer they are a little blurred, sometimes if its a shot i may only get that one hence to get I do zoom in on the camera but most times I dont
Awesome photo's, It's pretty cool knowing someone that is in the city all the time. One day when I visit family on the island we must hook up for a drink!
Thanks Kindly and that would be cool to mee tup sometime ;)
