My Actifit Report Card: May 20 2019
Color challenge Monday Red
For this evenings Actifit post as I was walking today which was mainly to and from the office and between buildings and meetings, I decided to combine it with the Color Challenge Monday Red hosted by @kalemandra and look for red things as I was walking about now let's see what I came up with
Firstly this Japanese Restaurant with lots of red, but the awning and building does not shine out as much as the reds do, looks a bit worn down to me

And next up simply a red Number 2 on the sign for the 2 Grand Central Building

And how about something less grand but a lovely warm red, A standpipe Siamese connection on the Side of a building

And speaking of buildings here is one that stands out with its warm read colors the Santander bank, I walk past this almost every day but till looking for reds i do not think I have ever taken a photo of it

And then I saw these lanterns outside another restaurant

And finally How could I resist for reds a couple of flowers , these were outside one of the many Delis in NYC, so many of them have a flower section

Well it was easy for find Reds for Monday, lets see if I continue this idea for Tuesday Orange tomorrow

I love how there is nearly a deli on every corner in New York. Most all of them have fantastic sandwiches too. At least from what I remember. Maybe it was just the rush of being in the Big Apple :P
Your right all of the delis there are pretty good, and most of the sandwiches are so good for sure, but these days I try to avoid sandwiches and lose some weight

Thanks :) it was an idea I had this morning on the train ride int the city, and I knew I didnt have time for a good walk before my first meeting, and then it came to me lets do the color challenge and see what reds I can find on the short walk to the office
I thought you would have gone into one of the restaurants to take some photos or have a meal.

Speaking of red, it was my mom's favorite color and she even painted the one wall in our lounge at home a bright red.

I struggled a little with the color challenge today but got a couple of shots that fitted the challenge :)
Ha! My mom was a woman that you never dared argue with. Eventually we all got used to it and after she dolled it up with some black African and Arab porcelain heads it really took on a life of its own.
