Age Of Abundance: Another SMT Announced And Progress On A Project I Am Following: Getting Paid For What We Normally Do!!!!
The blockchain world keeps expanding with so much happening it is difficult to keep up with it all.
Yesterday, we got the announcement of another project that is going to create a token on the STEEM blockchain using the SMT protocol. Then, last night, I get an email about a project I started following more than a year ago.
I wrote about this a couple months back since I felt it was a great way to earn some tokens. The project is Presearch and they just gave an update.
For those who are not familiar with this project, it is going to be a search engine that is created on the blockchain. At present, they only have an interface as they are building an index. Estimations are that search is worth over $100B a year to Google so it is a market with some potential.
Malware is a problem these days and Presearch is addressing it. They partnered with MetaCert to be able to alert users of potential malware and phishing threats from different sites.
Another update is that the tokens are going to be released. There were some who are gaming the system so the tokens were frozen online to allow them to sort through it. Now, they are starting to allow those accounts with 1,000 tokens or more to move them. This will be done in stages.
This is a traded token listed on Coinmarketcap.com under the symbol of PRE.
It is open for anyone to join and earn tokens. I am attaching my referral link which will pay you 25 PRE immediately and myself the same after 60 days, if you achieve 100 PRE from searches. Searches earn .25 PRE apiece up to 8 PRE a day (32 searches). This is one of the first examples of getting paid to do what we normally do.

You can choose which search engine is used out of the interface including duckduckgo (for those who do not want to be tracked by Google).
This project is another example of the Age of Abundance.
Which brings me to the latest SMT project. Like @steemhunt, this one is going ERC20 to get the token out before converting it over to STEEM when the SMT protocol is released. As with Presearch, here is another example for getting paid to do what we normally do.
What is the activity? Walking.
ACTIFIT is an Android application (they are working on the IOS version) that tracks your steps. They require a minimum of 5,000 per day to get credit. The application tracks the steps in the background and, once completed, one can post it to STEEM.
It looks like doing 5K steps earns 20 ACTIFIT tokens and 10K earns 100. There is also payouts for delegation that appears on a daily basis.
This is very exciting to me. Walking is something that almost all of us do. Talk about getting paid for an action regularly taken. This is it. Whether it is exercise or walking around during daily life, this app tracks it and you get paid.
There are other fitness trackers out there but none on the STEEM blockchain. ACTIFIT is going to be one of the first tokens on here using the SMT protocol. Like APPICs and Steemhunt, they are working to bring their token to market. That is a big benefit since it is a not something that is in the planning stage for way down the road.
Now imagine STEEM with 250 or 500 tokens of this nature.
That is what we are looking at in a year or two.

Yes I do all of my curiosity searches with presearch as my homepage. Obviously not a huge earning potential now but adding that extra step in my search routine, I have over a hundred PRE in the last couple weeks.
Helps in my goal to collect 1000 of each currency out there big and small. ;)
A great goal....having 1,000 of everything will set you on the path of Abundance in my opinion...you might have a little extra to spare if you achieve that end LOL

Bookmarked presearch to check it out tomorrow as it is getting late in here and I'm installing actifit...again. I had it installed a yesterday also, but didn't feel like giving it my keys. Now that I saw it on many posts around Steemit I will see how it works.
It looks every web-regarded things vreated before blockchain will be adopted to blockchain. A new era!? Than time to search on "presearch".

I've been using presearch about a week, and have 38 tokens.
I like the results better, too.
At $.12 each, that is over $4...probably $4 more than Google ever sent you for using their search.
Google's been running a hatchet job on 'Voluntaryism' for as long as I can remember.
Cannibalism, Incest, and Nickelback get accurate descriptions, but voluntaryism gets thrown under the bus with a grossly inaccurate hit piece at the very top.
I noticed that, too. Most of the links on the first page are voluntaryist hit pieces.
Disgusting behavior by Google.
I've been using presearch for a couple of months now - love it.
I have 42 PRE, which is worth about $5, which is $5 more than Google has ever paid me to search :)
I've found results are better through duckduckgo.com too.
Under image types there's a 'Transparent' option, which really helps grab images to manipulate.
The gifs are better too.

I like presearch, hope it succeeds, since we use search engines all the time, why not make a token or two right :)
Wounder if it sees a major dump when the tokens are released :) I think it will in this case, but will bounce back if advertising brings traffic.

Dang you made me almost super excited there for a second, I thought Presearch was going to use SMT. But yeah I saw ACTIFIT reminds me of a sweatcoin app that actually will pay you good. However with these new steem apps we really need a filter option @ned for steemit.
Presearch should build on the STEEM blockchain...but then again, I am a bit biased LOL
I think most things should be on here.
Another SMT only makes the entire ecosystem more valuable.
I think this is a very good post.
But there is a doubt that it will bring benefits to me or any failure
