#freewrite :: 5 minute freewrite - Prompt: morning mist
Slowly my eyes open,
As the sun was rising,
When most are still sleeping,
In the early morning,
I got up from bed,
Awake from slumber,
I walked to the window,
And open the sliding timber,
A soft wind, coming from the east,
Brushes my face, almost caressing,
As I smile, feeling the morning mist,
Letting me know, a good day is here.
This is my freewrite today to @mariannewest’s prompt ‘morning mist’.
