My Actifit Report Card: May 18 2019
Today was Relay for Life and I walked the most I’ve walked in a long time!! A friend got us involved and signed me up as a survivor.
The rain ruined all the hard work they put into this event. There were so many luminaria bags that were never lit. Years ago when I walked with work I remember a little boy that had so many bags in memory of him. It really leaves an impression to see them all lit up. I never thought one day I would have luminaria bag with my name on it.
@runridefly walked his butt off!! He was honored as well since he has been my caretaker. I couldn’t have gotten through all this without him. I love you Babe😘
We kept track of laps with a lanyard and beads. My lanyard counted my laps with either @theharvey or @daniel-san. They were so excited to grab a colorful bead.
Breast cancer effects 1 in 8... it’s like being chosen to fight a fight with no training and the hopes of having someone in your corner. You may lose a limb and there is no promise you will survive. You have no choice but to fight the fight and hope you kick ass. 
20299 steps...? Whoo hooo! Way to go! You're looking so good, and I had a big smile on my face when I saw you in that "Survivor" shirt! It is beautiful how your sweet husband and children rallied beside you! 💖

I’m so happy that you were able to fully participate in this walk @luvbnamome! 20,299 steps! That is SOOOO good! You really made #EveryStepCount and Your a survivor in every sense of the word.
This walk in memory of those who fought cancer... it really shows us the human side of this disease... I think that it shows us that we are all in this together... sick or healthy.
I’m certain that @runridefly and your boys played a HUGE part in your recovery! That sort of help can make ALL the difference I’m sure so I’m glad that you had the men in your life all around you because they must have been with you through thick and thin!

Thank you so much!! Yes my guys in my life are so important!! They are why I don’t give and @runridefly is the reason I got through the most painful time. He cared for the whole family when I couldn’t do anything.

That's so touching @luvbnamome. You know... It's when life bumps you (and in this case I think it did more than that...) that you find out what people have been filling their lives with. It's what spills out. The good, the bad, and the ugly. You all are such sweet people and @runridefly is such an amazing man. You are all so lucky! This has certainly drawn the family closer rather than pulled it apart like in some cases...
It's been one busy week for me but watch for my #EveryStepCounts post later today! :)
Now... I'm off to plant this years garden!
