School books

The new academic session starts on 9th September 2019. The school my kid attends sent us a text message that their books are now available in the school bookshop. He attends a private school so we pay through our noses for almost everything concerning his academic because we want the best for him academically.

So I had to go to the school and pay to collect them, I was shocked to discover I had so many books to collect. The worst of it is that they said that we still have about 8 more books to collect. What!!! I know I was one of the bright kids back in the day, no kidding but I don’t believe we were made to read so many books. We were 6 kids my parents had, if we all came back with all these books the house wouldn’t have contained us. Lol.

I went for a walk in the evening to visit a construction site where a friend of mine is planning on constructing a wall. He wanted me to confirm if they had brought some of the materials he needed to start the construction. I think that was where I got most of my counts today.

I watch the movie titled “Robinhood” over the weekend with my family and the Bryan Adams song “Everything I Do I Do It For You” was playing at some point so I remembered the song. I think in a way Steemit Inc. is telling us the same thing with HF21 (not romantic, lol). But truly, I think they’re doing it for us, for the strengthening of the blockchain and its growth. So like love is let’s be patient and see how things pan out.
