Ginger And Honey Tea - My Actifit Report Card: May 28 2019

Hey Actifitters and Steemians,

I went for an and early morning walk as usual today but there were a lot of trucks carrying heavy container on the road and they kept oozing out dark smokes from their exhaust, this made breathing difficult for some time so I had to cross over to the other side of the road, before I got home I discovered I had developed a cough.

Ginger and Honey Tea

I normally drink Ginger tea with honey when I notice a cough coming or cold due to exposure to rain. Before the raining season started we had harvested some fresh ginger from our garden, sliced then up and put them in the sun to dry, after about 3 day of leaving it out in the sun, it was dry enough and we took it to the market where they have an engine that grind such stuff, after grinding it we put it in a container from where we collect to cook and make ginger tea with honey.

Add a tea spoon of grinded ginger in a cup

Honey

Add a spoon of honey

Next you add hot water into the mix and stir it. You’ll continue to stir it as you drink so that you don’t have thick ginger residual at the base of the cup. It works wonders I tell you. Some people add some drops of lime or lemon but I was in no mode of bitter taste today. Lol.

Mercy’s kit - Day 4

I spent most of the afternoon doing one house chore or the other, from cleaning to preparing lunch. I also checked on the rabbits to know how they are doing. I will be trying to take pictures of Mercy’s kits daily until they get to older ages that you don’t need to worry too much about them.

I went for a very early evening walk at about 5pm, I just needed to come out of the house and see the light outside for a while. The atmosphere was pretty hot and sweaty but it’s all good, I had my share of sunshine for the day and went home to take a bath, relax and watch TV with the family. I’ll probably still be Steeming for some time because I am waiting for the ub-sub1 lease to be taken so that I’ll do some transfers before hitting the sack. Cheers.
