My Actifit Report Card: March 16 2019 - Remembering My Time In The Snow

Hey Actifitters and Steemians,

Woke up early but didn’t go for early morning walk because I had to feed the rabbits before going for the Exco meeting of the Housing Estate where I leave. Most areas of Lagos have residence and Landlord associations where people living in the community gather monthly to plan a way forward for the community to develop faster because waiting for the local, state of federal government to develop the community means you have to wait ages. Lol.

After the meeting was concluded we went to view some sites, we asked every Landlord to install security lights at the front of their compound as it will brighten the streets at night, some people have complied while others have not so we needed to have a chat with those that haven’t done theirs and encourage them to do it.

After the community service I went home for a well-deserved lunch, my son way watching Aquaman again, he must have watched it more than 10 times already and it still excites him as if it was the first time. After lunch I was forced to watch it with him. After that I took him to the rabbit farm so that he could help out with a bit of the task we had to settle.

After that we just hanged around the garden area checking to see if there were any ripe pawpaw fruit, unfortunately there was none. Lol. My son picked up a pole that used to serve as the wooden length of rake and started swinging it the way Aquaman was swinging his trident (a three-pronged spear), I had to tell him on three occasion to move away from the car before I finally to him to stop. Lol. We don’t have no Aquaman in. People need to show love to other people, dumping of refuse this way can be a danger to everybody living in that community. They need to care how these wastes are been dispo the family. He wasn’t too happy until I told him we needed to go for a walk and that brought back the smile on his face.

After the evening walk we had dinner and I felt today is a good day to have an early night because we have early morning service tomorrow and before you know it I’ll be wondering what happened to the weekend. Lol.

First time of touch snow

Don't mind the smile on my face, I was almost freezing there. Lol.

I saw a picture of me in Wolverhampton during winter some years ago while searching for another picture entirely and I remembered some Actifit friends that are waiting for the winter to go away, lol. Well, that was how old I was before I experienced in practical what winter is, before then I only knew about it in Geography and Agriculture classes while in secondary school. It reminded me of the song by Chris de Burg demonstrated using Ice Skating, I love it and hope you guys and very lovely ladies do too.
