My Actifit Report Card: December 10 2019

The day dawned seriously foggy with zero sun! We were expecting rain, and where as it did a little, not a whole lot was to be seen.
I began my day in finishing up two packages that needed mailing and worked on wrapping and packing and then printing the mailing labels. After that, I headed to the post office to get them on their way.
It was raining in town and I had to use the windshield wipers to get home. Usually, what occurs in town is headed uphill our way. At first, we weren’t going to go hiking and do the mall walking thing instead. However, the rain never really materialized up here, so we set off.
It was kind of cold, but really probably more damp. Dampness has that way of reaching way down into your bones. Brrrr…. We ascended into literally a cloud and you could feel the water droplets suspended in the air as they hit your face when you walked forward.
It really wasn’t raining, just really weird! We hiked up to Towhee Ridge as that was about as far as the daylight was going to let us go, and get off the mountain before twilight. You don’t hike after dark where we live!
I had just gotten in the mail yesterday, a second back up pair of Morrell hikers and wore them today to make sure all is well. I actually like them better than the first pair, so I am thinking the blue and grey ones are going to be my daily hikers and the black and grey ones are for backups if the first pair don’t dry out or something. Anyway, it makes me happy to have that second pair just in case. Most of the time when you find something that works really well for you, it’s a good idea to get a second one, like the hikers, as I find that when you go to get the second one, they are all gone, discontinued, or any other number of reasons that they aren’t available.

I usually run in the morning during weekends. Now that it is starting to be chilly here, I think I will be going to the gym instead, because (you guessed right) I don't do too well in cold weather. Just looking at your photos made me feel the chill down into my bones.... ditto on the brrrr... lol!

The rain has begun! This is the rain from now until forever forecast........at least for the next 10 days, lol! Up above 4500 feet, they are expecting 2-4 FEET of snow! I like snow, but I've been in Plain, WA before where we got 3 feet overnight one time. Made for some interesting times, lol! Have a lovely night @silversaver888!
I love misty days like that! Beautiful pictures, looks like you live in a nice & greeen area with plenty of parks/trails. The kitty looks tired, & I bet you are too after a long day. Have a good one :)

Thank you @andrewfleming! I didn't do so well today; I haven't posted yet but will soon. I had work and of course........it's RAINING!!🙄 At least if it were snow, I can snowshoe! Maybe pray for the temps to drop and that will take care of the rain, lol! You have a good night as well and take care!
