What's the next step?

First of all, I thought about the troop visit thoroughly and my decision has been made. From 2 January I will be standing outside the door of the military as a sergeant candidate and paratrooper.

But I don't want to be mediocre there, I want to shine with outstanding performance. The sport test was already good, but I want to shine with the highest score at the beginning of my recruitment and I will prepare the "Ultimate Training Plan" for it by Monday.
Maximum strength, strength endurance, speed, endurance; all forms of fitness will be improved by then.

I will also be working on my diet, as I want to lose 3-4 kilograms by then. Less weight makes everything easier. The ideal ratio between maximum success and minimum fatigue and injury risk has to be found.

Otherwise, I will consult a lot of literature about the military and know everything there is to know until the start of duty. My self-claims are high and I want to perform from day 1. For this I will have the next 7 weeks and also use these.


Otherwise, my day was rather modest. I did the paperwork, gave gym lessons, went to the physiotherapist because of my knee and had a little swim.

Ich wünsche Dir für deinen Eintritt bei den Fallschirmjägern alles Gute. Eine sportliche Vorbereitung ist vielleicht gar nicht mal schlecht, allerdings wird Dir diese nur bedingt weiter helfen.
Als ich vor über 20 Jahren dem Verein beigetreten bin hatte ich auch gedacht das ich fit bin. Und ich wurde eines besseren belehrt. Aber Kopf hoch, damals waren die Anforderungen noch etwas höher als jetzt.
Kleiner Tipp von mir : pack Dir einen Rucksack mit ca 15 kg Gewicht, ziehe Dir Springerstiefel an und laufe jeden Tag, bis Du bei 30 km angekommen bist.
Wenn Du dort angekommen bist hast Du gegen deine Mitstreiter einen guten Vorteil.
Wenn Du noch Fragen an einen ehemaligen Feldwebel der Fallschirmjägern hast dann stehe ich Dir gern zur Verfügung.

Sportlich bin ich denk ich bereits gut aufgestellt. Weis nicht ob du den PFT damals auch gemacht hast, aber realistisch kann ich bis zum Januar dort die höchstpunktzahl erreichen.
Wandern bzw marschieren mit Gepäck muss ich auf jeden Fall noch üben, aber das steht bereits auf der Liste.

Ich werde mich bestmöglich drauf vorbereiten. Durch den Truppenbesuch habe ich schonmal einen realistischen Eindruck bekommen, wie meine nächsten 3 Jahre aussehen wern.

Warum bist du nicht mehr Fallschirmfeldwebel? Bist du wieder zivil unterwegs?

Ja ich bin schon seit 2000 wieder Zivilist. Ich war von 1996 - 2000 in Oldenburg stationiert. Wo gehs Du hin.?

Sounds like fun. But I saw some crossfitters on youtube now and their pullups... that is not a real pullup in my opinion.

But I will keep that workout in my mind ^^

Call it how you like it :) Kipping pull-ups. there is now time in a war to flex your biceps :) You have two minutes...

Those workouts make you a superhuman. it is called by soldiers names because it was their workouts :)
Try to do fran in the desert.

non trained people make Fran in 20 minutes and puke in my puke bucket or on the floor. average make in 10-15 minutes some of them puke. trained make in 5-10 minutes and able to smile :) superhumans make in 2-5 minutes and go straight for the grace :)
