There is a school of thought that would say maybe Donny Tinnyhands does know what he's doing and it is that he is acting as an agent for collapsing the entire system of capitalism... it's not remotely true... but the school of thought is legit, it is called Accelerationism. They start off thinking capitalism must go but then realise capitalism is structurally robust once endemic corruption via accumulated wealth and power sets in (which it clearly has), and this is so even given capitalism is financially non-robust and periodically unstable (the structural robustness allows recovery from financial crises through the mechanism of neoliberal government intervention --- corporate welfare in extremis --- to help the banks and lending institutions who under pure libertarianism should be left to fail and rot and the government bailing out ordinary [people instead), and so the Accelerationists advocate not fighting capitalism but accelerating it until it completely crashes not just a financial collapse, but complete annihilation. These are extreme violent philosophers apparently not afraid to die themselves for their cause. They see how corporate welfare bailouts are a corruption and bastardization of pure capitalism which must be exploited by amplification to finally bring a catastrophic end to capitalism.

These grouch sessions are of course entirely justified! But it does get a bit tiresome. No good is gained from moaning about Tinnyhand's authoritarian tendencies because we all already know where it is going since he at least has some semblance of a quality of consistency: he follows the most unethical PR/RealityShow practices to the extreme, so he will never back down on the 1% enrichment trajectory he has championed, while at the same time blustering in his repetitive speeches about how he is "the best" for the working class.

The positive news about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's primary win is so much more mentally healthy. Hope people do not let this fade from memory too soon just because the mainstream news cycle refreshes itself weekly.

Just thought I'd mention this note on accelerationism for Stemmit readers who are not aware. Problem is these accelerationists are mad-men, they would sacrifice countless human lives this way just to end capitalism violently by it's own self-implosion. They have attributes of sadism and masochism. It can never happen this way because of the mass atrocities that accelerationism implies, which would result in fascist police control before capitalism proper is destroyed as a viable organizing political economy, but Donny Tinnyhands sure is acting "as if" he might closetly believe in accelarationism. The truth is more banal most likely he just see his own personal enrichment and not a hair's breadth beyond that.

IMHO the only sure way to emancipate human civilization from capitalism will be small nation and large community examples of viable practical non-violent alternatives like worker cooperatives that can actually survive within a capitalist system provided rule of law with reasonable liberalism is still in existence. We need examples of democracy in practice because at this stage of late capitalism theoretical arguments are not being heeded and are twisted by spin doctors so argumentation will likely never get us anywhere, other than affirming each other who share similar opinions. Especially after the disastrous recent SCOTUS news arguments in the courts will also not get us far, so it is time to roll up our sleeves and just f**k greedy crony capitalism and start building democratic profit-sharing workplaces within the prevailing capitalist order, like little nucleation centres of saner human political economy. To do this, some smart folks who have start-up funds are going to have to help out and give up on the idea of being millionaires and instead be content with being "thousandaires" yet while enriching greater society a whole hell of a lot more. If such small scale democratic enterprise endeavours can thrive, this will prove their robustness. There is no better test than a alternative system living viably within a predatory parent system. No academic articles or policy thinktanks can argue against real world results.
