これでよかったのだろうか
こんにちは、@yasuです。
お店の厨房で準備をしていた時に、手を離せない状態の時でしたが、
ホールに人の存在を感じました。
一旦作業を止めて、ホールに出てみると、お年寄りの方が立っていました。
お客さんではない様子でした。
お店には、お客さん以外にも、販売の方、営業の方や、教会の方などもよく来られます。
近づいてみると、無言のまま、手をさし伸ばしてきたのです。
困惑しましたが、私は、そのお年寄りを追い返しました。
何をして欲しいか言ってくれたらいいのにと思いながらも、
お金が欲しいのだろうとは感付いていました。
追い返したあと、自責の念に駆られました。
これでよかったのだろうかと。
