Roaming Farmers Market for Veggies
Good Morning Steemit
I took a full eight-hour peaceful sleep last night. It's been awhile since I have had that much sleep. I feel surprisingly fresh as I write this post and wait for my breakfast.
Yesterday, I went to local farmers market. It may come as a surprise to you but that's how farmer markets look in my part of the world.
Everything is raw and fresh straight from the farms.
I was on my way back, after filling up my veggie rations for the week when these one's stopped me.
Lychees were ripe, juicy and pretty cheep(0.5$/kg).
I couldn't resist the gushing red color and ended up purchasing 5 kg of them.
And my breakfast is ready. Here, have a look.
Healthiest salad ever made!!! Thank you honey!!!
Can you guess the ingredients???
I am sure by now, I have watered your mouth enough, so I am going to go and enjoy my breakfast.😋😋😋
That looks delicious! And what a lovely place to buy your fresh vegetables. I really wish my country had the option for us to buy fresh produce directly from farmers, but that's pretty much impossible around here.
Those lychees looks delicious by the way! I have never tasted that fruit before, so what does it taste like?
As for the breakfast, I'm going to guess cucumbers, carrots, onions, and of course a few more ingredients that I cannot identify.
Well you have got to try lychees...they has a balanced taste sweet and tart:)
And you are right about ingredient...I also include Cabbage and Beet plus lemon juice....
That sounds good! I will see if I can ever find them here in Norway. They are apparently sometimes possible to get in the expensive supermarkets, so maybe I will find one :)

Lychees? I have not seen them around my area before.
Those Okra looks really yummy.
In my local language, we call Okra, okwuru. Sounds pretty much like the English pronunciation.
