Any chess players on here?
My good friend @firstjabi2 kept bugging me that he couldn't believe I didn't play chess any more. We were in the high school chess club. We had a couple of grandmasters a few years ahead of us that always mopped up, but we still had fun!

They even have an app for my Android smartphone...- If you want to play a game, here I am...

I'm currently hovering around 900.
I was 1200+ in high school. ::shrug::

Whew! Man I suck! haha
- I quickly dropped to about 800 points.
Those people pushed me all around.
I fell for all the stupid traps.
I just flat out didn't see a few tricks.
I couldn't get any offense going.
My defense sucked.
Several times I questioned who would be such a dumbass to make the move I just did? haha- BUT It's slowly but surely coming back to me.
I watched a few YouTubes and have been using the strategy lessons on chess.com.- I've clawed my way back to 900 points.
Don't fall for nearly as many traps.
Don't make nearly as many stupid moves.
Am slowly figuring out the end game again.

I used to play some timed chess games. That was always fun.
Have you ever played double chess?
These are timed. You each get 10 minutes. I think you can do a blitz, but I've not figured that out... I have lost a few games because I ran out of time, even though I was ahead... ::shrug::
Double chess is like this.....I think I remember.
2 boards.
your teammate will be the opposite color as you on the opposite board.
As your teammate takes pieces from his opponent you can use a turn to add that piece to your board.
you cannot put the other player in check with that newly added piece.
make sense?
Mixes it up a little every now and then.
That sounds like a fun twist.
