Dpoll 78: Do you use fresh lemon?

It's lemon time.

I bought some (4) on sale last week and one of my children made a cake with lemon.
I wrote A yellow lie and it's true what I wrote. Lemon is not such a great fat dissolved as they say.

The kid intents to make another cake now.
This time lemon zest + juice will be used. Grating a lemon is no fun. It's hard to get the lemon zest out of the grater. I never use it because I don't like to clean nasty kitchen aids.

Once I read in the shop it was not allowed to eat the lemon.
Kind of strange since that's the idea of lemon.

Do you use fresh lemon for your food or drinks or perhaps to clean with?

My answer: Yes.

I love lemon and in fact I intend to consume more now to help my immune system. You can just squeeze some into a glass of water and add some honey. @adetorrent has a great video today about ways to fight the coronavirus: https://busy.org/@adetorrent/2jxqe25ol38

Thank you for stopping by. I won't easily get the coronavirus because I have rarely contact with other people only with my children.
I do not even visit their schools. I avoid shopping at times many people are around and coughing, sneezing people like usually. These days they all find it normal to do this straight into your face. These days children are no longer teached to cover their mouth, turn their hand.
With us the hand is replaced by the elbow pit. I guess because people rarely wash their hands.
Thanks for the link of sthe video about the virus. I'll try to watch it as soon as possible.

To help my immune system I probably need to sleep more. Honey won't do me good. I am allergic to it. But I can still eat lemon. I do not dislike its taste. Just so is fine.

I hope you are doing fine. Stay healthy.

I put it mostly into my tea. Sometimes onto my food. Mostly onto meats.
I have not tried it so far, but maybe I will try to make some lemonade with fresh lemons.
I have not made any lemonade so far, but my family and my relatives/friends made lemonade. So far I bought lemonade in stores. Maybe I will try to make some during this summer.

In tea it's great fore sure.
It's easy to make syruo. It's just lemon juice + sugar. You can add water to it. It's very refreshing and the syrup remains good for a very long time. 💕
