It is Autumn.

The garden shows partly the colors yellow and green. Some leaves turned into brown. The high walnut tree is a good example.

As I made my walk outside I noticed to most trees and bushes it is Springtime.
The roses already cut before the winter and the elderberry bushes have buds and new green leaves!

The currants died because of a lack of water. The bush lost most leaves but the buds are there.

It is the same with my tomato plants. They hardly survived the freezing cold we had for one night only but... they did not die. Neither did the tomatoes. Let's wait and see what will happen to them in the next days and weeks (the temp will drop more and I believe winter is near).

The mulberry tree is not into Spring mood. All leaves far still there and they are brown as shown in the first photo.

The roses feel the Spring.

So do the elderberry bushes.

The currants died.

But... there are new buds for the currant bush.

The tomato plants do not give up. New leaves.

The earlier leaves died after the first-night frost but the tomatoes made it.
