My Neighborhood Watch #63 - Reporting Events Around Us

Hello, welcome to My blog once again it's nice reporting back to you again, just sit back and relax as you read through the happenings around my environment.

Finally, God has blessed us with the sun today it's been two weeks that we have had constant rain many people lost their houses due to the rain that has been coming without stopping even the farm products that we harvest from the farm, especially the groundnut it has gone bad to an extent that is beyond repair but what can we say we give glory to God he said that everything that happened has it reasons

My neighbor lost their house due to the constant train and I feel bad for them because, in the condition that they are living in, I did not wish anything bad like this should happen to them because feeding is a problem not to talk of the children's hospitals bills because recently one of the wives have taken her son to the hospital

People around here depend on farm products for their survival but because of the rain people hardly feed once a day because there is no sunlight for us to dry the corn for grounding also the groundnut which is the source of income has become bad because of the constant rain

And today god decided to show us mercy the groundnut has seen the face of the sun and hopefully, the remaining one will survive, school has resumed many parents Hope this for their children's school fees.

Sudden death is killing people around our community here and there, we have been losing great Legends in our community three days ago we buried a legend who is our language translator of the Bible and songs in our community, he died of a brief illness just because he has an argument with his uncle over a piece of land and the uncle say that he will not leave to see the next day and his sudden death shocked our community men and women have cried and I feel bad for his innocent children who will grow up without their father😭

And again a beautiful young lady has just been announced dead I don't know what is happening because the world has become a scary place to be, but what can we do, we just hope that God's mercy will speak for us.

There is also a case of armed robbery in our street a young man was attacked and his valuable items were collected from him and they made an attempt to cut his hands because he tried to struggle with them over his property but they overshadowed him and made away with his belongings funds and laptop

My prayer for those people who steal from others is that the lord gives them understanding so that they can labor for themselves and stop causing heart blood pressure for others many people have been in a condition because of this kind of situation let's pray that we have a change of government so that every individual will leave and earn for his family.

Lastly, one of the amazing news, I had today around my neighborhood was a young boy who is still schooling came back and went in search of valuable items in the trash bin so that he could pay his fees one day while searching for valuable items in the trash bin he discovered a wrapper who was tied with a rope he took it when he opened the wrapper he discovered that it was millions of naira that were tied down to that wrapper.

He took it to his mom and his mom counted the money it was 2 million nairas out of shock, she took it to the king of the community, and the King made an announcement that whoever lost his money should come and claim it the woman that is in position of the money made her way to the King's palace and then she was asked how much her money was when she mentions the exact amount she was asked to count the money again for confirmation,

When she discovered that the money had not missed even a bit she was amazed and she asked to see the person that brought the money to the King's House she decided to sponsor that boy to a higher institution on scholarship and she raised money for the boys family to build a comfortable house for themselves kindness that pays.

I wish that the youth of our community will learn from this boy who is a hard-working and kind person his name has entered the Guinness Book of Records because he has done what others cannot do, I have learned a lesson from him.
