Hello Guys, how have steemit experience been so far? I hope its fun? well, if it's not fun yet to you why not sit down and research to find out where you are not getting it right, correct your mistakes and #BOOM join the fun train.

As you all know it's my custom to bring to you some tips that can make all of us grow on this platform. Well, today i come with this little tip majorly for us minnows.

THE BIG QUESTION

How does it feel when you make a post, you only see the numbers of views are increasing, but the number of comments, upvotes, resteeming and earnings are nothing to write home about. That's really painful and discouraging, these have been the painful experience i passed through, so i fully know how it hurts. This continued till i read a post that made me understand that a blog is healthier when you reduce the way you follow people, especially following people that do not share the same interest with you, so my advice is this, from time to time, go through your following on your blog and screen them, unfollow those people that are inactive, those that don't contribute to your blog, always make your following look neat.

Reduce the way you follow anonymous people

follow People who you are active and shares the same interest in what you.

EXAMPLE:

If you are a poet, you should know that its healthier and advisable to follow your fellow poets and poem related authors, doing this will help you to grow since steemit isn't just for making money but also a platform for learning.

REMEMBER:

you grow faster when you interact with people that shares same in interest with you

it's better to have 20 active people you are following and learning from them, and you guys are friends than to have thousands upon thousands anonymous users who are just inactive. following too many people on steemit doesn't help you grow, that's the fact we all have to learn.

From experience and little Research, these few things are What helps you grow on steemit.

1. joining and actively engaging in a community
2. making active friends
3. creating original posts
4. Reading other people's post and dropping a good comment.

SPECTACLES - New App To Check Who Your Loyal/Influential/Dead/Ghost Followers Are!

@pilcrow and @sjennon just launched a new app Spectacles to check who your most loyal / influential / dead / ghost followers are. You can even check who has upvoted you the most and the whole time frame of upvotes received.

The great thing about this app is that you can see who has been upvoting you even if their vote is small. Yes, you can see your whole damn entire list! Perhaps it's a great way of seeing who your true followers are.

I believe other apps do not cover the full range that Spectacles offer, at least not with a pretty awesome user interface. Additionally, your voting power is displayed as well.
