Let's Promote Steem - Delegation Contest Winner!

Last week I published a post offering a delegation of 1,000 SP for at least a month to a deserving Steemian who has good ideas about promoting the blockchain and platform. So who answered the challenge, and who gets the prize?

I would like to start by apologizing for the delay in this post. I already wrote that I am somewhat uninspired, and so real life takes precedence over blogging.

Now, without further delay, the results of my little contest.

Submissions

The condition for the contest to take place was a minimum of 5 submissions. There were 8 that I was tagged in or were linked in my comments. If you wrote a post for the contest and I missed it - please please please contact me ASAP.

So what did I get?

@oppongk shared some really inspiring stories about helping the underprivileged in Ghana and exposing more locals to the awesome opportunities to make a few cryptocoins on Steem.

@arbazalam , who joined Steem at the young age of 15, told about his efforts to expose students in his country of Nepal to Steem and Steemit.

@aggamun reminded me how global and intercultural Steem is by telling of his experience with the Myanmar community on the blockchain.

@steevec is one of the oldest users I remember of the platform from quite a few forks back. He's been doing quite a lot for Steem, promoting it outside and blockchain and taking part in activities meant to increase user retention.

@jacksonchakma shared his experience promoting Steem on social media.

@dougalporteous made a lovely compilation of videos showing what he loves about Steem, and it made me miss SteemFest (which is going to be in Thailand this year, according to my steemfest app).

@zanoni posted screenshots of his daily efforts to promote Steem on social media and his WordPress blog.

And the winner is...

@bflanagin is a creative commons activist who joined Steem through Utopian (like many) and has grown beyond it. He's actually working on an interesting startup and a few cool initiatives I am tempted to help out with. You can read his submission post here.
