How Sweetsss it is
The other day I wrote a post entitled Travel with me which had a collection of photos from my trip to work, and someone commented that they thought they had somehow stumbled onto a post by @sweetsssj. Pfft. Then today I saw a post about effective curation of the photography tag and @sweetsssj topped the list again.
So, I took it as a sign to see what he has been up to recently considering that she was called out about a year ago for supporting 10 accounts with 100% votes with all of them draining to the same Bittrex wallet. Her vote is worth ~22 dollars as she has very large delegations.
In the last 7 days, she has voted 75 on 14 accounts with 4 of those accounts only getting one vote each. It really is quite an incredible amount with 70 x 22 dollars = 1540 SBD of votes going to 10 accounts. You can have a look at the wheel for the last 28 days:
http://www.steemreports.com/outgoing-votes-info/?account=sweetsssj&days=28
Her own curation return over the last 30 days is 2,837.88 Steem:
https://steemworld.org/@sweetsssj
What this means is that the @sweetsssj distribution account sends out about 6500 SBD worth of votes every month to 10 accounts. I find this interesting considering about a year ago this was mentioned and became a bit of a thing, a few earlier, Ned removed his delegation as she was selling votes that were meant to be going to the community.
The most chronic selfvoter on the platform is of course Haejin but if you combine these ten accounts, they are extracting about 40% more out to Bittrex. They have worked out how to hide their Bittrex memo address from the public at least.
I think that this situation is one of the Steem Enigmas that will endure as I don't understand why anyone (unless getting a kickback) would delegate to her. I could understand if she was posting and attracting new users in but, she has only posted once since November and that was 6 week ago. Not posting hasn't stopped her earning Steem though, nor has it slowed down her voting on those 10 accounts daily after the posts reach 3.5 days old.
It is interesting that these 10 accounts have a guaranteed large vote on them but it seems that not even the frontrunners are going there, most of them have zero real comments on them also. It is weird. There seems to be some kind of protective shield around the platform's largest 11 account circlejerk for some reason which I think falls into some form of abuse for @steemcleaners. Again, it is weird.
This post isn't to create drama though, it is just something that I have always found interesting and with the popping up of @sweetsssj's name a couple of times in the last 2 days, I thought I would go for a bit of a looksy.
The other thing this post is for is to show some of the tools that people do not know.
http://www.steemreports.com/
https://steemworld.org/@sweetsssj
https://usesteem.com/steemwhales/topauthors
Another two that are good resource tools are:
https://beempy.com
https://steemfriends.org/
I do think people can do what they want with their stake however including delegating to who they choose and I guess that what @sweetsssj is doing is a demonstration of how much of a return stake can get in a year. It would be interesting to calculate what her (and her accounts) return is in Steem over the last 12 months but I don't have the ability to do so myself.
Don't you find Steem fascinating?

It's good that you point out the new tools available, I only knew steemworld before reading your post. Thanks for it.
As per the usual circlejerks ~ hmm nothing new 🤤
No worries. there are more around too but these are pretty decent.
yep =)
Back in Aug 16 when I first joined Steemit some of us were discussing fake accounts - production teams, investors, that sort of stuff. "She" was top of the list. But when I saw what happened to an account that did a post about it, I shut my face for evermore. The only reason I comment here is because you are the last person I would expect to mention this!
You have more to lose and a rep like a saint (and I don't mean your number here)
I posted about her before, as well as the Haej but I find it curious how little anyone cares. Perhaps she is the daughter of a major investor :D
When it comes to loss, my wallet is mine... unless someone decides to fork me out ;)
I think those two accounts are great intros into the layers of corruption here.
But there is a bunch of things none of us are allowed to discuss in public on Steemit. Right now so much deep shit is going down I'm guessing they won't have time to police this old stuff.
She is the model who fronts the production team. Behind her is a photographer, a writer, an organiser, and a bunch of assistants. And then we get to investors!
I care about this stuff, but mainly I care right now because all the stuff I turned a blind eye to is coming back to haunt us all. I really like Steemit, but so many of my friends have stopped posting, and coming to terms with the fact that we all knew what was going on but shut our faces is a big part of the problem. You are an inspiration, and if you dabble in these areas you will end up like the rest of us. So the fact that you are dabbling at this point has fully got my attention!
This is the way of the world I think. The shortcuts in life that lead to the very long way round or, no path left at all. I have taken enough shortcuts in my life.
I have always dabbled and I have lost a lot of support for it but, also gained some. I find it interesting here and this is only the beginning of the industry so, there is still room to adjust it. Once it is established, it will take a revolution to shift it.
Have you done much looking into AI on social media and specifically Steemit?
I have looked into how it works across other medias with the algorithms that feed views etc but I think the AI on Steem is pretty rudimentary and more just, programmed bots with very little autonomy.
I'm now thinking about half the accounts on Steemit are bots and they are getting better fast - I don't want to name them here but I certainly could name a few!
Hit me up on discord - frot - and I'll give you a couple of names I'd like to see your reaction to
As someone who chucks in the odd flaf as part of @steemflagrewards I'm painfully aware that we don't touch the wales on the platform...
After all the flag wars with H a year or so ago he's still doing the same old thing.
And I've just tried to blinker myself to sweets - she winds me up more than H.
We really need to co-ordinate flags against these on a lager scale... somehow!
Maybe when the stesm middle class grows a bit that'll start to happen?!?

Not sure what will happen but perhaps at some point the delegations will be removed at least as she only has 170 of her own but gets 750k in dele. That would slow her down at least and since nearly everything goes out to bittrex, there is not much left.
I just checked it out, I had thought that hendirk... was a reasonable individual, obviously not with such a large delegation to her. He/ she has just started a powerdown I notice, so that's something.
The more that they powerdown the better long-term I assume.
You're poking the Bear!! :0D
I need a new hat :D
Ha, yes. That will do just fine!
Exactly!
And now imagine if they all worked in the same office, at Steeminc...
grrrrrrrrrrr...lol
Imagine if Sweetsssj wore a Trump skin to work and sat in the oval office :P
Now you're just being a conspiracy theorist....lol..
She'd never have enough time to go to all those hotels...
@tarazkp If this happens, then how will the new people fare?
New people shouldn't rely on votes from Sweetsssj :D
We're all just being bittersssj 😭😭
Bitterness would be someone doing what I would want to do perhaps. I would have trouble facing the mirror if I acted like this for 2+ years...
It happens all over. I would suggest that 95% of all rewards go to 5% of 'users'. Because the people who could do something do nothing, it will carry on. I am not a good content creator but if I were as is your good self, Id have left by now.
I have pointed out many times that the Steem economic model is not fit for purpose but all the benefactors are hardly going to push through change are they?
Steem is the same as the off chain world. Greed and secrecy. And this is supposed to be a brave new fairer world.
Thanks for speaking up but I note that even you daren't put the @ in front of haejin . He wins.
And @tarazkp - I'm having fantasies now of coming into some money, vesting a million steem totally independtly of this account and then just flagging one abuser at a time.
But it's just fantasy!
A more decentralised and real solution is a tough one! It would require some kind of voluntary self-tax to devote to flagging!
There's a play on words there I accidently stumbled on... 'devote to de-voting'
lol, "devote" to the blockchain. :)
Maybe just comments could have an effect on some abusers - yr nemisis chbatist fr example who I've seen in the steem forums audience (surprisingly).. eg.. 'Please don't disrespect me by paying to vote this post above it's true value' thx'
Then again that'd make him UA no 1 if enough peops did it!

I used to tag him but it is of no use now. @sweetsssj can take all of my rewards if she wants with her voting power 10x over but, I'd say that she doesn't care much about it as no one really cares much what she does anyway.
Is it that no-one cares what she does, or is it that people have had to reach a point of not caring. If you care about it, but can't really do anything about it, then all you're going to do is make your time on here stressful. So sometimes you just have to let things go for your own sanity.
It seems a typical rich poor divide kind of scenario. The top few percent take the bulk of reward, leaving the majority scrambling for what little it's left. You can keep striving and working to reach a point where you can be a big earner on a website like this or even YouTube, but it's like fame, only a few will make it. So then you decided if you want to keep striving, or take up the mentality of knowing you'll never make it big and just enjoy being the consumer and the little bits you can benefit from. Those that don't take that second route either make it (rare) or give up.
I bet the majority of people on here would love to be able to make it an income to support them or make them rich, but I'm not sure if there's any system that can do that for everyone. You need the masses to funnel it to a few too get that benefit, or you spread it equally between everyone, which means no-one is getting rich.
Don't know if that makes any sense.

No mate. Its that general apathy and malaise by the community thats sad.

I try to look past most of this as trying to understand just waste time that could be better spent on yourself doing somethinf to grow. I think the recent increases in minnows and dolphins will start to see all of this ecosystem be better off.
