Hello @steemalive and @steemitblog, It's been a beautiful week so far with lots of engagements here on steemit. Meanwhile, I present to you once again Lagos City Report for the week that just passed. It's been an amazing week so far anyway.

Recruitment

We had 2 persons that joined us and their Introduction post was ready within the week. Though they indicated interest few weeks ago, but couldn't meet up with their posts because of some engagements, but I am glad they finally made it in publishing their Introduction post finally.

We have an increased number of inactive users last week, I was able to reach out to some persons on phone call, to find out why they had been inactive; some of them are students and are currently writing exams, of which they will resume back soonest immediately after the exams, some others had some phone issues which they are planning to fix within this week, the likes of @analee, @anyenaya1, @gracewealth.

I am also putting in my best in mentorship to see that Lagos Steemians remain active. Our newly created telegram page had been useful a useful tool I'm our mentorship.

I drop daily updates to help users maintain focus and remain active.

I also found out that most persons run out of contents, and also find it difficult to navigate around the community to find contests to participate in, so we decided a means of consciously searching for contest and dropping the links on the group so that interested persons can participate, @ammyy had been helping me to do that.

Our Plans

We are still working on all our laid down plans of meetups, publications and getting an office.

We have already scheduled this coming Sunday, 9th May by 2pm for our first meetup. It is going to hold at University of Lagos Lagoon front.

It is a mini park and very beautiful. Though this was not the initial place we intended using, we went to make enquires on the previous place we planned using, and they gave us an outrageous hill of 50,000 naira (approximately 103.6 steems) just for 2 hours, so that was the reason for our change of location.

There will be light refreshments, some steems to share, fun and as well a broad teaching on how steemit works. It is really going to be a beautiful meetup for everyone that will attend.
